Vision:

Modernization of technical and vocational education and training, development of human resources, achievement of economic prosperity and improvement of quality of life.

 

Mission:

Implementation of necessary policies and programs, implementation of projects, setting of ideal standards and monitoring and evaluation to ensure quality diploma engineering.

 

Areas of work:

1. Increasing opportunities and institutional capacity to spread quality technical and vocational education;

2. Improving the quality of technical and vocational education and training;

3. Strengthening administrative activities and monitoring in technical and vocational education;

4. Creating skilled human resources with human values ​​suitable for the domestic and international labor market;

1. Strengthening the implementation of good governance and reform activities.

 

Functions:

1. Providing training to teachers and employees;

2. Installation of modern equipment and procurement of educational materials suitable for meeting the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in classrooms;

3. Completion of the curriculum as per the academic calendar and conducting examinations on time and properly;

4. Implementation of the Integrity Action Plan, e-Governance/Innovation Action Plan and Service Delivery Commitment Action Plan, etc.;

5. Increasing communication and signing of MoUs between educational institutions and industries to create human resources suitable for the domestic and international labor market. And providing practical training to students in industries and factories;

6. Providing stipends to technical students and proper management of the poor fund;

7. Increasing facilities for women/special needs students in institutions;

8. Sending recommendations to BTEB for curriculum revision, enhancement and modernization;

9. Proper implementation of innovative projects included in the curriculum of seventh-grade students and organizing project fairs;

10. Organizing skills competitions, innovation fairs and job fairs to make students proficient in the latest technology;

11. Strengthening administrative and academic activities;

12. Organizing anti-terrorism, militancy/communalism meetings/seminars with the participation of students to celebrate national days and inspire them in the spirit of liberation war and patriotism;

13. Formulating an annual procurement plan and implementing procurement activities as per the plan;

14. Encouraging demand-based technical and vocational education and training;

15. Modernizing labs/workshops suitable for the global market to meet the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution;

16. Taking activities to increase institutional security (border wall, gate, door, repair/installation of CCTV cameras, etc.);

17. Organizing seminars/workshops/exchange meetings;

18. Preparing and updating lists of movable and immovable assets.
